In 2017, Elke S. Laughlin set out to create a unique industry niche by establishing the Laughlin Consulting Group. A management consulting firm geared exclusively to the commercial real estate industry focusing on change management, organizational, and leadership development services.

Elke is a highly energetic and dynamic leader with a keen ability to bring a unique perspective to the world of consultancy. As president and CEO of Laughlin Consulting Group, Elke has 30-years of industry experience in various facets of commercial real estate, from a privately-held regional brokerage firm to a global, publicly-traded, Fortune 500, and S&P 500 corporation.

Throughout her career, Elke has touched many commercial real estate sectors from brokerage services to operations; investment sales to human resources; corporate services to leadership development and sales training; and investment management to marketing and branding.

Foremost, Elke is a strategist who understands both organizational and human capital. She brings a distinct talent to professional business coaching and sales training due to her keen understanding of sales management and human behavior in a sales environment. She creates dynamic leadership and sales strategies, training, and executive development programs due to understanding behaviors, motivators, and drivers in a sales environment.

Elke is a teacher at heart, having served as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business’ Sales Excellence Institute. In addition, she has guest lectured at the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M Mays College of Business and The Lipsey School of Real Estate in Orlando, Florida.

Elke is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas and received certification in the behavioral sciences through TTI Success Insights, where she is a value-added associate. Elke received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University. She is a graduate of The Center for Houston’s Future – Business and Civic Leadership Forum.
